Facebook's new plain-language controls are a positive step toward more transparent feeds that better reflect what users actually want. Being able to say directly what you want to see more or less of, without relying only on likes and watch time, makes personalization simpler and more immediate. It remains worth using these tools thoughtfully: a tailored feed is useful, but staying open to new content and perspectives still matters. More control for users is a good starting point, and its real value will show in everyday use.
